Be sure to Download your Free EXEL "Know Your Numbers" Spreadsheet located at the bottom of this page.

For  a better understanding of how to use this document follow the instructions provided below.

1. (Blue Section) In the Monthly Work Days Field, fill out how many days you plan on deducting  (-) from the average 30 day month. Fill out the average number of sessions per month you currently provide and the price that you are currently charging per session. This will show you your monthly income without any expenses deducted, and on average how many massages per day you would need to book to meet your financial goal. Be realistic!

2. (Orange Section) In the Massage Business Expenses section, fill out all of your business expenses. There are several examples listed, but there is room to add your own! Determine if this is a one time expense or a monthly expense, and place the amount in the right fields.  Be realistic!

3. (Red Section) In the Personal Expenses section, fill out all of your personal expenses if you plan on having your Massage Business cover those as well. This is a great tool for those who are interested is using their business as a sole source of income for their household. Again, there are several examples listed, but there is room to add your own! Determine if this is a one time expense or a monthly expense, and place the amount in the right fields. Did we say be realistic?

4. (Green Boxes) Keep your eyes on the Profit/Loss Boxes! If you're in the red, make adjustments to items such as available days, price per massage, or expenses in order to make your business truly successful.

5. (Purple Field) If you would like to see annual figures,  fill out how many days you plan on deducting  (-) from a 365 day year.  Fill out the average number of sessions per year you currently provide and the price that you are currently charging per session. This spreadsheet will help you  determine if you are on the right track financially whether you are in business for yourself, an employee or thinking about starting your new Massage Business.

If you have different prices then do this spreadsheet with different prices  to see how much each service is bringing in.
